For Replicated Yield Trials (RYT's) plots, and Replicated Transgenic Yield Trials (RTYT's) plots, we offer a seed grinder that is directly integrated into the harvesting combine. Our Isolated Plot Seed Grinder makes it simple to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for seed destruction upon harvest without the need for additional seed-handling.

Because our seed grinder is directly attached to the harvesting combine, there is no need for transporting equipment such as grain wagons, and there is no need for any other machines that must be taken plot-side to destroy the seed. In addition, after our seed grinder cracks and grinds the seed, it is scattered directly to the ground, which eliminates another trip over the plot to scatter the destroyed seed!
